What is PEGI?


Age ratings are systems used to ensure that entertainment content, such as films, videos, DVDs, and computer games, are clearly labelled by age according to the content they contain. Age ratings provide guidance to consumers (particularly parents) to help them decide whether or not to buy a particular product. Computer and video games are now enjoyed by millions of players throughout Europe. In the UK, 37 % of the population aged between 16 and 49 describe themselves as ‘active gamers’ (defined as currently playing games on a console, handheld or PC).

To qualify for the PEGI OK label a game can NOT contain any of the following elements:


violence
sexual activity or sexual innuendo
nudity
bad language
gambling
promotion or use of drugs
promotion of alcohol or tobacco
scary scenes

Trailer


The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine trailer shows additonal content about the game in many different ways through the use showing more vibrant colours through short shots of the games environments that fluently cut to specific dark moments to keep the pace of action and atmospheric suspense. The trailer narrates different characters of relevance to the dlc through the trailer...This allow the trailer to also explain story content that draws the audience in. 

Poster


The poster shows a contrast in colour between the title that is clear and in a impact font and the main character. This media advertisement would be used in Bill Boards or Bus stops as primary source of retail marketing. These posters would advertise the game through the use of visual imagery. 





Namco Bandi games company produced a triple A title called Dark souls 3 which they went on to promote there game through the use of an art style know as Dark fantasy. The reason this trailer caught my interest was there use in the art style and how they promote there game using cartoon animation.
