Second idea Movie Advertisement campaign

 Second Idea Movie Advertisement Campaign

Modern Film industry

In the movie industry or motion picture industry it comprises the technological and commercial institutions of movie making, an example of these are movie production companies, movie studios, cinematography, animation, movie production, screenwriting, pre-production, post production, movie festivals, distribution; and actors as well as movie directors. All of these fit into the media and the promotional aspects of a Advertisement Campaign for a movie.

For my FMP I would try to attempt a section a movie's advertisement campaign. As inspiration for my idea I have recently looked at the recent movie hit Deadpool. I would try to create similar designed advertisement an example for my idea would be a trailer for a movie, poster using skills such as 3D modeling looking more in depth at common used skills within movie advertisement such as stop motion.

Deadpool

The Deadpool campaign was a outgoing audacious, including a number of viral videos shot on the spot with Reynolds. The campaign made Ryan become the internets rebel. The character of Deadpool was not your average superhero with his rebellious humour.

La La Land

In the first of our monthly showcase of outstanding creative campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, we take a look at Lionsgate UK and Create Advertising’s Instagram teasers for Oscar-winning film, La La Land

Creative Review has teamed up with Facebook and Instagram to highlight outstanding creative campaigns across both platforms throughout 2017. Each month, we’ll be highlighting campaigns that make innovative use of a range of formats – from Instagram Stories and Facebook Canvas to Messenger – to engage with mobile audiences.
Our first piece of Great Work is Lionsgate UK, iProspect and Create Advertising‘s Instagram campaign for Damien Chazelle’s Oscar-winning film, La La Land.

The campaign was launched to promote the UK release of the film in January this year. Create Advertising was asked to raise awareness of La La Land with content that would stop Instagram users in their tracks and engage with younger audiences who might be unfamiliar with classic Hollywood musicals.

To create the content, Lionsgate looked at the key areas of interest for users: travel, cinematography and photography, romance and fashion – all of which were a perfect fit for La La Land. These themes were used to create ten pieces of bespoke content that could be delivered to precisely the right audiences, using Instagram and Facebook’s targeting capabilities.
